Arches and Orthotics

Feet are the logical starting point in all movement patterns and gait. Fallen arches, bunions, totally flat feet, ridgid or high arches, stiff ankles, plantar fasciitis, Morton’s neuroma and any foot or ankle pain are signs your body isn’t moving properly. Feet have many moving parts and in many cases require some support in the form of orthotics. – Dr. Kurt has spent years finding the right orthotic to help create healthy and proper movement patterns. The philosophy at Bluestone Health Group is that orthotics need to help movement. Almost all orthotics are for static posture or simply standing. They are not designed to help your foot move properly while walking and running. This combined with our Gait and Movement assessments and treatments creates a circumstance for wonderful and pain free movement and feet.
